"Maya and Anwita exemplify Alive's Teen Led, Teen Driven™ model shown through their diligence, initiative, and enthusiasm in leading the AstroThink program at Alive Naperville. They not only were able to make a fun and engaging program, but they also merged two complicated subjects in space and AI to make them accessible for youth. Maya and Anwita are two sterling examples of why the Alive Center aims to empower the leaders of the future. It was truly a joy to work with them."
Astrobiologist, PhD Candidate at University of Tennessee Knoxville
Will Wallentine is an astrobiologist working on his PhD at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Astrobiologists study life in the universe, from the clouds on Mars to the depths of our oceans. Will's career has taken him to NASA multiple times, where he has worked with scientists who pilot machines on Mars. He is currently studying life from a pond in Antarctica that is one of the saltiest on Earth and is very similar to Mars.
